Join us for the first dance event of 2026- the debut of Gonzaga Dance’s new story ballet created and choreographed by Founding Chair Suzanne Ostersmith! Leading characters are performed by our Gonzaga Dance students while supporting roles incorporate local youth dancers. This retelling of Thumbelina is a fun and inspiring performance for all. The performance also features new original compositions by Gonzaga Alum Nic Marshall.

Bizet's Carmen has seen countless interpretations over the past 150 years, but never one like this. Acclaimed choreographer Gustavo Ramírez Sansano brings this full-length ballet to the stage, inspired by tauromaquia—the art of bullfighting— breathing a modern life into this legendary character.
